Doesn't it seem like I just taught a knife skills class? I did. And now a small group of people want another one taught. How can I say no?

Need to brush up on slicing, dicing, peeling, honing? Want to buy a new knife but don't know which one to get? Have a desire to test drive some knives? Require some one-on-one instruction?

This class might be for you.

Saturday July 22nd $53**
1-3pm Bernal Heights, San Francisco

{Exact location will be sentShunaknife002_1 upon confirmation of payment.}

**You may pay by PayPal (link in right hand column) or send me a check. If you would rather the latter, email me and I will let you know where to send it.

And sign up early! This class will be small as it will take place in a private residence.

Come one, come all. Come hungry to learn.

I took Shuna's class the last time she taught it. It truly was an amazing experience. I have been meaning to write my thoughts about it earlier but alas, I've been too busy. I would like to say that what I wanted from the class and what I left with were completely different, and I couldn't be happier. I wanted to learn from a professional chef how to cut faster while creating more uniform pieces. One of the first things Shuna explained was that her class would not be about speed chopping, but how careful cutting techniques can add a whole new layer to your cooking. Boy was I surprised. I can't remember the names for all the different techniques but I can still feel how each felt in my mouth. In addition to her teachings, her stories are worth attending the class even if you don't think you can improve on your slicing and dicing. If you have the chance, sign up for this class! You won't be disappointed. I know I wasn't.

Do you have a Knife Skills class planned this year?

Robin,
