Geeks & Techies: An Invitation!
OK. There is now an MP3 *Podcast from BlogHer of Shuna Fish Lydon (that's me y'all!!!) speaking to blogging, eggbeaters, the web,
the professional food industry, strange commenters, traffic, the food blogging community, Luddites, and all of the nifty things computers have exposed us to. {can you believe it?!}
* * * * * * * * * * * * * * *
How do I post it on Eggbeater? * * * * * * *
* * * * Not just in the body of this post, but in one of my actual columns.
Here is the link to the link of the MP3.
* * * * * *
If you're a techie in my neighborhood, be sure to ask for a sweet thing in return.
This is very exciting I must say!! I sound like I'm a younger buoy than I even look! But my words sound like mine, and that's the most important after the press has gotten hold of us, no?
* to indicate excitement decoration!

Use the following HTML
This will created a little inline player inside the post for playing your podcast. For what it's worth, the link to the link of mp3s is broken.

Damn, it stripped out the actual HTML.
Try this instead:
〈embed src="URL-TO-THE-MP3" height=25 width=65 controls=playbutton autostart=false〉

Aha, the link is working now, add this specific link to make it work on your site.
〈embed src="http://media.thechrispirilloshow.com/mp3/blogher/cps_blogher06_eggbeater.mp3" height=25 width=65 controls=playbutton autostart=false〉

S-
In my imagination you sounded more like Tom Waits... must be the tats :-)
Just like your blog, in the interview you are erudite in the way of the self taught: you explain with the experience and not the theory.
As usual, informative and inspirational.

Sweet! I was asking one of the BlogHer founders about this just the other day.

Hi Shuna,
What a great interview! I think you really got to the heart of what makes blogging, and in particular food blogging, so special.
:-)

Coolness!
A regular link with a shoutout to the creator is usually preferred since podcasts do suck up a lot of bandwidth. They might be cool with you linking directly to the mp3 file, but be sure to ask if you can embed that into your sidebar (ignore me if you've already done this).
