The Sunday Supper: A Fundraiser for CUESA
Where will you be one week from tonight? Maybe primping for the dinner of the year? Under the enchanting arcade of the meticulously restored Ferry Building arcade? Have you ever been there at night?
Gorgeous.
This is what CUESA has to say about it:
"On Sunday, October 8, over 40 of the Bay Area's most celebrated chefs will collaborate in preparing a spectacular five course meal using local, sustainable and seasonal ingredients from the Ferry Plaza Farmers Market. This is the fourth year for CUESA’s Sunday Supper gala and we are working hard to ensure it will be our most exciting.
The Supper will take place at San Francisco’s historic Ferry Building. It begins at 6 pm with wine and appetizers downstairs in the Marketplace. At 7 pm, guests climb the stairs for a family-style meal in the Grand Hall. "

If I were not one of the chefs I would surely be going.
See you soon?
HAPPY OCTOBER.

But the real question is...what are you making? I would kill to be there...it sounds fantastic and I know from the list of chefs that this will be a celebration not only of fantastic ingredients and a commitment to seasonality but also of the fantastic Bay Area community that supports these values.
