Shuna -- My friend gave me a persimmon tree, a belated birthday present Nobody ever gave me a tree before. It is shapely and beautiful even without its leaves and will be even more beautiful next fall whether there is fruit or not. Thanks for the visit to the farm. I could feel that change-of-season air.

Amazing photos. I wish I had a farm to visit.
I worked on an organic farm for 3 summers in college here in CO and I loved it-- three of the best summers of my life.
Your farm dogs look much friendlier than the dog at Weird Harold's farm (that's really what we called him). Zorro, or Zero as I prefered, was a batshit crazy german shepherd who liked to bite. But the peppers and tomatoes and squashes and flowers made it worth it.
Happy holidays!
