Peach Advice: For Ripening, Buying, Eating, Pondering...
What could I possibly share with you that you don't already know if you love peaches as much as I do?
Maybe, perhaps, something I learned from a savvy peach buying customer yesterday at the San Rafael market?
It could be that I'm sharing some secrets, some inner-workings behind the personality of peaches, with you, fine peach fuzzy readers, lookers, onlookers, lurkers, passers-by...
Hey, you never know...
And even if you do?
Check out, take a peek or a gander, at what I've in store for you, if you merely take a chance,

Yes, but do you have a singularly peachy recipe to pass on? Something kind of memorable, like your recipe for rhubarb cornmeal cake. Something for the layperson? Something very peachy? After all, there's only so much peach pie a girl can make!

Hungry Girl,
Peach recipes! Dare I say I do not have the time at this very moment to pass on recipes... sorry! But I do suggest using them for the cornmeal cake, the crisp recipe, the sabayon, the shortcakes.
After that? Look for a simple bavarian recipe-- it's like a pannacotta but with fruit coulis and whipped cream... or ice cream or sorbet or, the easiest: granita!
Jim, glad to be of service!
Keiko!!!
O how it warms me when you come by and comment. Perhaps one day I will be in the UK to teach some summer fruit classes. I can not tell you what an honor that would be.
But I would be afraid if you were in my class. Maybe YOU should teach one and I will come to that!
