Butterscotch dresses!! Yes, yes, yes!!

My mother used to make a white cake with butterscotch "icing".
And butterscotch pudding is one of my all-time, knock down drag out favorite things.

Thanks!

Oh, yay! I ran across yet another otherwise promising recipe recently that called for scotch in the butterscotch, and I almost cried.

Butterscotch kiddie pools! I want one!

oh. yum. and yum.

thank you.

I just came back from Elise's. Butterscotch pot de creme...I can't wait to make it!
For many years now, probably because of its name, I thought that Butterscotch was made with Scotch Liquor (blush)

talk about comfort food! when I first started my blog, I wentthrough a salted caramel and butterscotch phase. I even thought I was pregnant. I couldn't get enough of it. your photos look amazing. isn't sugar wonderful?

tasty temptation, thanks

That is sooo awesome..who knew? I thought Butterscotch only came in a jar. Looks easy to make. Thanks.

Great recipe!
I just made some of your butterscotch, only with less cream, so that it almost set. Then put a spoonful each into sweet short pastry cups, and topped with dark chocolate gnash.
Yum. Thanks
