OMG!!!
I LOVE EGGBEATER TOO!!!
Happy Birthday Sweet Blog

You welcome us with open arms, and loving words, and a reflection of all things in life both savory and bittersweet.

You are a gift.

Of persimmons, and cream puffs, and sailor boys, Mermaids, and whispered secrets, tears of joy, frosting on the cake, eggbabies birthed in cast iron, and the laughter of a survivor.

You make me feel like it's my birthday too, every time I read you.

Love & Kisses!!!

Happy three years, Shuna! It is a huge accomplishment. Your blog has given much pleasure, and I'm looking forward to Year Four.

Happy Blog Birthday, Eggbeater.

Thank you, for being awesome.

Congratulations, and happy anniversary / birthday / feast day! (Considering the subject matter, I think "feast day" seems particularly appropriate!)

You've given us much reason to celebrate. Thank you for letting us share your world, your gifts, your blessings, your hurts, your heart. This blog is time and space well spent - for all of us!

Congrats!

Happy Birthday INDEED~!

I LOVE the pictures- I received an instant smile seeing the first two...

and I LOVE that you persevered, grew, taught, listened, laughed, cried, explained, challenged, overcame, and continue...

Feliz Cumpleanos!!!

Happy anniversary!

Happy Blog Birthday! Time sure does fly...

You will always be one of my most favorite colours in the crayon box...thanks so much for allowing our paths to intersect, I hope for many miles more! Happy Happy!
xoxo

Happy BIrthday, Eggbeater!!! What a great post!! Eggbeater rules!! Eggbeater is all you say it is and more! And we love Eggbeater and we love you, and we thank you for your generosity, for pouring so much into your words, your pictures, your food!!

Love, Dad and Ellen

Happy Blog Birthday! Eggbeater has brought me much joy over its lifetime. Thank you for sharing so much of yourself here.

The blogosphere wouldn't be the same without you, Shuna... happy birthday to eggbeater!

Hey Eggbeater!

Thank you for being born.

Love and smooshy hugs,
shauna

Happy Birthday Eggbeater !!!

Boy, you sure got a lot of words in your fingers.

xo, Biggles

Three is a good age and you are a mighty fine blogger. I can't think of anyone who does it better. I read you and admire your photos everyday that I can and I often times feel myself going off into a kind of meditation, you have that affect on me. You are a one and only Shuna, please keep blogging for years to come. Fondly, Kathryn

Congrats Shuna! Count me as a lurker who pops in from time to time for the food (the drama, not so much). Mmmmm chocolate frosting.

If you'd like to play stump the pastry chef, I've got a kitchen dilemma that I'd love to get your help with.

I'm stuck with 14 oz. (!) of homemade grapefruit marmalade that didn't gel properly. I didn't use enough pips so didn't get enough pectin. (Normally I make awesome marmalade that rivals June Taylor's, btw.) Anyway, I ended up overcooking the marmalade in the hopes that it would thicken, so now it's a bit caramelized with the consistency of honey. And it's got nice big long pieces of peel that have candied due to the longer cooking process.

My first thought as a home cook was to just throw the whole thing away, because I hate reminders of my failures. But then I realized that would NEVER happen in a pro kitchen.

So chef, any ideas for how I can incorporate my mistake into desserts? (besides drizzle on crepes :) )

Happy happy happy. Thank you, Shuna, for entertaining, challenging, and inspiring me with your words and photos these past three years. Your frankness and raw vulnerability never ceases to shake me out of my complacency. I'm especially grateful for your fearless openness about what it's like working (and blogging) as a pastry chef in the Bay Area. Thanks for letting us, as you so playfully put it, splash in Eggbeater's puddles.

Aw, happy birthday eggbeater ~ and happy birthday eggbeater's mommy, too.

Happy birthday! And thanks for the window into your world and the beautiful photography. For giving us a chance to dream.

thank you for daring and sharing. we are lucky.

Happy BlogDay!

Happy birthday eggbeater. I remember when you first began not long after I also started blogging.

Happy three year celebrating and many more to come!

Happy happy, always a good read. More to come we hope!
