This past Monday KQED called me up at the last minute to cover the Monday night Commonwealth Club's event featuring some of my favorite peeps. I threw my reporter's notebook and pen into an inconspicuous sack, dressed handsomely in my favorite late winter color scheme of soft browns and blues, and traveled to the magnificent Ferry Building. Being there at night is as wondrous as staying up late on a school night to eat cookies out of the oven.
I have been a fan of the Commonwealth Club since I heard a program on the radio so riveting I did not leave my parked car until it ended.
In my seventh piece for Bay Area Bites, the eclectic food blog of KQED, come and sit beside me in a small room overlooking the bay and listen to thought provoking questions about food blogging by some of the most popular bloggers in Northern California. But hey-- no flirting with Amanda Berne, she's mine.
No, I say she's MINE. You wanna thumb wrastle for her?
Oh wait, bad idea. I've shaken your hand before, let me get back to you.
