Oroville has some mighty fine peaches. (I grew up not far south of there, in Yuba City, which also has some good fuzzy stuff.)

I'm quite late to the party here, but I'm almost exactly half-way between Yuba City and Oroville, where my mother lives. If you come up again let me know and I'll see if I can't take you to some cool places you haven't been to before.
