I'm always the most grateful person when the plane touches down. I seem to have brought the London rain home with me. although waking up to it at 4 this morning was a lovely, comforting sound.
I have not been this excited to come home in a long time. My little tree house is fine and one of my orchids will bloom any day now. 1000 photos are in iPhoto, the suitcase is unpacked and all my goodies await getting documented and then given to their respectful gift receivers.
And I just found out my cousin who now lives in Australia is coming to the States in 2 weeks! Well, to Florida. It will be the first time I've seen her in 15 years if I can make it across the country then. Ahhh a hectic last minute family reunion. This time I think I'll rent a car. And bring back bagels.
I've come home to some good and some difficult news. I will try to begin processing it all today, my stay at home day. Trying to beat the jet lag I had a friend help me to stay up until 7pm (4 am my time) yesterday, but I promptly awoke at 4 (1 pm my time.)
Thank you for keeping up with my travels. And waiting patiently for photos!
Take it easy getting back into your rhythm, you.
Welcome home.

haha, I bring back bagels to Portland from New York when I go home to visit, too. I thought I was the only weirdo. Apparently not!
