I tasted some extra ordinary chocolate recently, Hotel Chocolat. I was skeptical but it delivered. There's even a milk chocolate that surpasses my current favorite.
Unlike most chocolate producers, Hotel Chocolat has its own plantation. There are many more interesting facts about the company and soon I will tell you why I'm asking if you've heard of them.
Have you tasted their stuff? Seen it? Any thoughts?
That sounds nice, all I know about them is that the bloke from thorntons went and smashed up all their chocolates in a little hissy fit of rage.
Hopefully if I get to go home at christmas I'll try them

I'm a fan, I picked some up the last time I was in London and am happy to say it's now available in the US. They have a warehouse in Boston, and they're going to start shipping in a few weeks.
I'm eager to try their 'Liquid Chocolat', they have quite a few varieties including Macho. I like the description "If you enjoy espresso coffee, then this is the chocolate equivalent. Made with pure, 100% cocoa for a profound chocolate kick yet without any harshness. A truly authentic chocolate drink."
