The 2007 Food Blog Awards Are Open For Nominations!

It's that time of year again, when we look back at the year before and mark it with a certificate of merit. Some of you will make lists with columns, some will purge closets, and all of us will probably take notice of how age has changed our bodies and relationships.

It's also that time of year again-- the Well Fed Network's 2007 Food Blog Awards are open for your opinions and nominations.

And because I was a bit confused I am going to try and break it down for you:

1. Click on this link to be brought to the nomination page.

2. Each category{there are 14}  is a link. Click on it and leave your nomination in the comments section of each category.

3. Look here to see who the Judges are.

4. The time line is this ------> You have from right this minute until Wednesday December 5 11:59 PM Eastern Standard Time (for The United States) to get your nomination in.

5. Between December 5 and December 10 those fabulous judges will work long and hard to determine who will appear in those 5 slots you will be voting on, which leads us to...

6. Actual VOTING will commence Monday December 10 and end at exactly 11:59 PM EST on Friday December 14th.

A lot of new blogs deserved to be looked at, by the way. Don't get me wrong-- I love  getting awards. But there are many a great food blogs out there with less readers and interest and not because they're awful but because there's a lot of "lazy journalism" even on the web.

Take a bit of time to look under mossy rocks for those fabulous tall red hats. We're all gnomes worth knowing.
