Egg Hunt Blog Author, Maura, Are You Out There?

Heloooooooooo?

Anyone know where Maura might be?

She is the author, creator and baker of a most fabulous blog called Egg Hunt, but she appears to be missing.
I'm worried about her.
I've emailed her and looked her up and nothing. No word has come back good, bad or indifferent.

If you know Maura, if you are Maura, please just let me know you're safe. Of course you owe nothing at all to me or any of your readers and fellow bakers, but please just remove our worry and tell us to piss off because this blogging business isn't for you anymore. Or whatever.

I'm fretting. And sad. Because Egg Hunt is wonderful, filled with amazing, tried & true recipes and quirky stories and lovely illustrations. Even if you don't come back I hope you know what a delicious addition you are and were.

We will miss you.
I miss you a lot.

If you had a dollar for every time a blogger decided to try and quietly slip away from their online home without making a fuss, you'd be a very rich woman.

Instead of fretting and being sad, why not try and be happy she has probably found something she likes to do better.

I say fret and worry. If I didn't worry about things I had no control over, I'd have to worry about important things! And if you're anything like me....being told to be happy is just plain annoying no matter how well intentioned.
