anything is possible in a potato. on a potato. many creations live inside the potato. you just have to release
them, like birds.
there are some who prefer highly detailed designs. some of us enjoy geometry and the magic of how its surface will hold, release and reject the paint. and it depends on the paint. or the ink.
I think sparkles are important. and letting go. and mixing
paint to create unexpected colors and results.
some endless ideas can be found here. see? everyone's doing it.
potato printing. betcha never thought a potato
could be so much fun!
Shuna,
Ever thought about doing a kids class with this? My daughter and her pals would love this.

Oh No, Silly-- this is not at all about a class. this is just you, friends, potatoes, paper and paint. it's not about teaching, it's about letting that kid in you come out and play.

It is so amazing that you are doing this! When I read your post on Things To Do with Potatoes, that "PRINT" jumped out at me (I had to search the list 'cause I was SURE you would not have PRINT in there). Bought some just last night to play with. What great fun!!
