and so autumn begins.
leaves quietly lose green and gain gold, reds, orangey yellows.
the sun is out, in full effect, but cools, by colour and by strength.
back to school blues, and excitement both.
corduroy and another jacket and woolly scarves.
flannel sheets on the bed. dark mornings
fennel, squash, sweet potatoes, cobnuts, roasted cashews, hazelnut & caramel
warm flavors.
October is full
31 days
change slightly, stolen in the night, and then gains power--blustery winds, leaves fall
soon another sound mingles with your footfalls
scratchy, dry, skating sounds
piles of crinkly on lawns and sidewalks.
flannel + fennel = fall
